The Clinical Reality Curriculum
We stripped away the fluff. This is the operational software for a high-performance clinic, focusing on tactile precision and nutritional strategy.
Practical Pulse Diagnosis
Get past slippery and wiry. Mark Kuebel steps back from the rigid approaches taught in school and introduces you to the techniques real practitioners use to get information from the pulse.
- Rolling techniques for Fu organs
- Signal versus noise
- How to truly FEEL the pulse
Palpation: How to read your patient's body
Your patient isn't a textbook. Too often the practitioner's approach to palpation gives them no information, and can even make the patient less comfortable. Learn the two modes of palpation, how to use them, and how to get your patient's body to tell you what it needs.
- How to palpate and how NOT to palpate
- The 5 rules of palpation
- Examination vs. Exploration
Introduction to Dietary Therapy
This course covers the basics of food as medicine. While there are similarities to how we think about herbal therapy, there are many differences as well. This information comes from a full semester course taught by Dr. Caron from 2017-2019 at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, Canada.
- Temperature, Flavor, and Depth
- Constructing meals like herbal formulas
- Targeted interventions for specific conditions
Mentorship from the Source
Mark Kuebel, L.Ac., MSTCM
Mark Kuebel represents the intellectual spine of the Guild. A scholar-practitioner with a background in biological sciences, his mission is to strip away modern simplifications and restore the potency of the original lineage. He acts as a translator, updating the foundations of Chinese medicine by integrating new information available in English.
His expertise extends to deep scholarship in herbal formula architecture and modification. He is currently authoring Guidance on the Way of Chinese Medicine, a textbook designed to restore the depth often lost in university curriculums.
Dr. Peter Caron, DACM, L.Ac.
Dr. Caron operates at the intersection of classical internal medicine and high-end private practice. Having performed over 20,000 treatments, he specializes in complex orthopedics and Dietary Therapy. He served as a Faculty Supervisor at Pacific College for five years, guiding interns through the transition from student to doctor.
Beyond his clinical work, he spent over a decade coordinating field clinics for Global Healthworks in Guatemala. This "field medic" experience taught him that true mastery is about efficiency: stripping away theory to focus on the systems that work when patient volume is high and resources are low.
Designed for the Serious Practitioner
This training is not for hobbyists. It is for clinicians ready to move beyond textbook theory and into structural reality.
The Recent Graduate
Theory is fresh, but your hands are unsure. You feel the gap between passing the board exam and safely treating a real patient. You need the manual feedback loops that schools often miss.
The Experienced Pro
You have results, but you hit plateaus with complex cases. You are tired of "chasing the pain" and ready to start dismantling it. You need advanced orthopedics to break your clinical ceiling.
The Integrated Clinician
You treat the patient, but their daily habits often sabotage your work. You want to give advice that goes deeper than "eat warm foods" without getting overwhelmed. You need the foundational logic to start prescribing meals with the same strategy you use for herbs.
Clarifying the Protocol
Is this a live webinar?
No. This is a high-fidelity video archive. You do not need to wait for a specific time slot. You receive instant, on-demand access to all three modules immediately upon registration, allowing you to study the material at your own pace.
Is there a hidden cost?
No. The Diagnostics & Nutrition Series serves as the entry point to the AAG ecosystem. There is no cost and no credit card required. We view this as a scholarship initiative to raise the baseline standard of the profession.
I am a recent graduate. Is this too advanced?
No. In fact, this is the training you should have received in school. It is explicitly designed to replace "textbook theory" with clinical reality. It bridges the gap between passing your boards and safely treating your first complex patient.
I have practiced for 10+ years. Will I learn anything?
Absolutely. Do not mistake "foundational" for "basic." Many veteran practitioners still rely on "pattern guessing" or vague pulse taking. This series introduces the Binary Pulse Framework—a tool that adds precision to even a master’s diagnosis.
